the trial separation BLOW OFF

Noooooo! First Ben Harper and Laura Dern, now this? This makes me sad. I liked Courtney Cox and David Arquette as a couple. What are the chances they won't get divorced? Why must celebrities mess with my emotions like this. Wouldn't it be great if they talked more about how much their relationships sucked in the press, so that we wouldn't have to be so blindsided all the time?

Here's their joint statement:
"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go through this process, we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well."

  2. I kind of feel the same way about "taking a break" as I do about threesomes - do they really ever make anything better? I have no experience from which to speak, but they always seem bad. Anyone want to way in on pros?

Also, the sophistication of this break up press release scares me. I think they're suffering from a serious case of over-analyzing things!

  3. What are you talking about? Threesomes are a GREAT IDEA! haha, just kidding. So true! Trial separation sounds like a bad plan, especially if one person still has hope and the other person doesn't.
