R.I.P. Will & Jada?

UPDATE: Willow and Jaden released this statement about their parents: "Upon much reflection and prayer, our parents came to the conclusion that separating at this time would be poison for our careers. Per our request, they have decided to give their marriage another shot. Our cover album of the new Kanye West and Jay-Z album drops on September 20th."

Okay, just kidding. Here's the real statement released by the couple "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact." I don't know about you, but "intact" doesn't sound all that great to me.

What happened to "divorce is not an option?" TMZ is reporting today that In Touch Weekly has broken the news that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have separated. Everyone knows a break up is not official until a publicist has released a statement, so we'll wait and see on this one. BUT assuming it is true (remember: In Touch broke the Jesse James affair) here are some observations:

*Scientology ruins marriages. Seriously. If you are married and become Scientologists, you're most likely going to get divorced. I'm hoping Will was the one that stopped buying into this shit, while Jada still thinks she has an alien soul.

*Does this mean that the gay rumors are true? I for one never believed all the talk about Will being gay and Jada being a lesbian...but it would be super hot if say Will started dating Tom Cruise and Jada started dating Queen Latifah.

*I wonder if their marriage troubles began when they started whoring their kids out as little celebrities. I don't think there's a whole lot of difference between the Smiths and those creepy pageant moms. Willow and Jaden are automatically going to become famous, because of their parents...couldn't they have made them wait until they were 18 or even 12?

*Did they totally cause the earthquake in New York so people would stop talking about their split?
