The good news is: I got a jobby-job! After doing the freelance writing thing for the last two + years, starting today I get to be a staff writer on the new FOX comedy, The Goodwin Games. Woot woot! For those of you that have been following this blog for awhile, you know this is dream job territory for me. Especially since this show was created by the same guys behind...wait for it...How I Met Your Mother.
The bad news is-- I will probably have less time to blog. But I'm going to do my best to bring you guys new BLOW OFF content as often as possible. And let's not forget, this blog was never about me. It's about you and your shitty break up stories. Don't be afraid to send them to me at: theblowoffwtf@gmail.com
In the meantime, get excited for your new favorite TV show. The series will be on the air 2013. Check out the trailer and for all you TJ Miller fans, he will be replacing Jake Lacy in the role of "Jimmy."
Congrats, Sara! NOEL FOREVERRR. I mean, let's be real, Ben is muh man, but you get the point.
ReplyDeleteBen and Noel is a way bigger dilemma than Pacey and Dawson. Thanks for the congrats!!

Deleteomg, Sara! this is AMAZING, I'm sooo happy for you, you're taking the world by storm, I can't WAIT to see your show- that's right, it's "your show" as far as I'm concerned. just, wow, I'm so impressed by you!
ReplyDeleteUm, you are too sweet! it's def not my show as I am the lowly staff writer. I will just be happy if I make it through the whole season without getting fired. Fingers crossed!
DeleteWow, I have followed this blog for a long time and have read many of your posts. I don't know you at all in real life, but I am so oddly happy for you anyhow. I am also a journalist (focusing mostly on finance news), and I can so relate to the idea of securing that elusive dream job. Your talent was recognized, and that is amazing in this highly competitive field. I wish you the very best of luck. And I also want to let you know that your posts have helped me through one very, very painful blow-off.
ReplyDeleteMarni, thank you so much for your comment!!! It means so much to me. I wish we did know each other in real life! I'm so glad the blog helped you through a painful break up, here's hoping it was the last one. Lots of love, Saaara
